The Startup Sync Awards are evaluated by a distinguished jury of experts, investors, business leaders, and specialists in entrepreneurship and innovation, bringing extensive experience and deep knowledge across the various award categories. The jury reviews and assesses all nominations with expertise and objectivity to identify the most outstanding and deserving candidates in each category.
Once nominations close, all submissions undergo a structured evaluation process based on clear and established criteria for each award category. Each nomination is reviewed and assessed based on its achievements, impact, and overall excellence against these criteria, with the final winners selected by the jury.
The winners of the Startup Sync Awards will be announced during Startup Sync JESR, taking place soon in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, specifically in the Eastern Province. The event will bring together partners, investors, industry leaders, leading entrepreneurs, and key members of the entrepreneurship, innovation, and investment ecosystem.

The Startup Sync Awards 2026 follow a structured evaluation framework designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and objectivity throughout the nomination process. The framework is based on clearly defined criteria tailored to the nature and objectives of each category, enabling nominees’ achievements and contributions to the development of the entrepreneurship ecosystem to be assessed against clear and consistent standards.
Nominations are assessed against a set of main and sub-criteria, with a relative weight assigned to each criterion according to its importance within the relevant category. The evaluation follows a five-point rating scale, ranging from 1 (Very Poor) to 5 (Excellent), with clearly defined performance levels for each criterion.
Scores are calculated based on the ratings assigned to each criterion and its corresponding weight. The weighted scores are then aggregated to determine each nominee’s final score, out of a total of 100 points.

The weight of each main criterion is distributed across its sub-criteria. Weight within criterion shows the sub-criterion’s share within its main criterion, while Weight of final score shows its actual contribution to the overall 100-point score. The weights of all main criteria within each category add up to 100%.
